Puppy Love

On 31st January 2008, we heard the patter of EIGHT tiny feet in our house. No, I haven’t had quadruplets or given a home to a tarantula (though that would have been easier). Trevor and I have adopted two 5-month-old Cairn Terrier/Bichon Frisé crossbreeds. They are very lovable but the little terriers didn’t come ready house-trained so we’re up to our eyes in… well, I don’t need to elaborate. In short I have become a proper little Mrs. Mop, or even Scrubber of Warwickshire. Bertie is the cutest I think, but he’s the canine village idiot. Rusty is quieter but definitely brighter – I think he’ll be doing the Times crossword before long.

A bit of RUFF and tumble

Trevor tries teaching Bertie to type but the keys are too tasty... so is Trevor's arm!

Really, really cute. I'd love to have a dog but with young children around the house it's a no-no at the moment. We are considering a cat though...

Sensible Steve. You and Karen have enough to think about at the moment! I'm surprised by how much time these pooches take up - it's like having a couple of toddlers!
I've never had a cat but yes, it is an option - they're certainly less dependent.

Cute dogs. However, they tend to lose their charm when they have to be taken for those walks at 2:00 a.m. I have two dogs myself. However, they are much bigger. One is a Lab and the other is a coon hound. The lab is very gentle, but the hound is very excitable. Both are very good pets. You will get very attached.

Hi Rocky, I can't imagine Trevor and I ever taking the dogs for a walk at 2.00 am! Could you send us a picture of your dogs?

I didn't think the Times Crossword was the in thing these days, isn't in Sudoku you should be teaching him ?! :)
Cute dogs !!!

Hello Andrew, well, I think we've been a bit too ambitious! The Sudoku will have to wait until they have learnt a few simple commands such as 'sit', 'heel' and 'no'!
