A Bug's (After) Life

Trevor and I performed this caterpillar sketch at church this morning. We did it last year and I've cheated by using one of last year's photos. If you go into Trevor's blog, and click on his podcast, you will be able to hear the 3-minute sketch (recorded at home) Hope you can understand our cockney accents!

Barefoot in the Park

Trevor and I saw this charming comedy at the Knowle (Solihull) Village Hall last night. You may have seen the 1960's film, starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda? Delightful.
Have YOU been to the theatre lately Or the cinema? Or a concert? I'm keen to hear about it.

Quiz Night 10th March

As Trevor and his 79-year-old father-in-law battled with the questions, Trevor panicked. The hardest question of all was whether or not to have tomato ketchup on his fish and chips.

Long Lost Bird From Hawkshead

The picture of my friend David was taken more than two decades ago. A couple of years ago he met a bird in Hawkshead (Cumbria... Beatrix Potter land) but sadly she disappeared. She being the swan, not Beatrix Potter as Miss Potter died in 1943. I digress..... It appears that the swan was found alive and well at Lough Neagh, near Belfast - see Northern Ireland (2) post below. I hate to tell Dave this but she was not alone......
