Chewing Gum

I bought a pack of chewing gum yesterday. Just inside the packet, the instruction said, "for best results: insert in mouth"
Don't you just love companies with a sense of humour?

Pot Noodle used to say 'Remove lid...pour boiling water'

And I had a deodorant that said 'Shake well before use' what it didn't say was if it was me that was meant to shake or the container.

Remove lid? Damn, no wonder the water went everywhere.

Hehe, sounds like a very rude deodorant. I vaguely remember some product that said, "unscrew top and push up bottom" but I've forgotten what it was! Maybe toothpaste or some kind of roll-on deodorant.

We had some Imperial Leather Shower Gel that said 'Squeeze a small amount onto a puff and work into a lather'

Hehe, the mind boggles!

Is that the gum with the really annoying advert with the unfunny stand-up comic? The advert alone would be enough to prevent me from buying it but I given that the have to give instructions to use the gum, we can work out the IQ of the target audience.

Hmmm, it says 'insert in mouth' but does it actually tell you to chew it? There could be a lot of confused people wondering what all the fuss is about...

Hello Mike, I haven't seen the advert so I can't comment on that but it's interesting that you remember it.

As I buy the gum occasionally it doesn't say much for my IQ :-)

I take your point Mike, thanks for that!
